(002051.SZ) announced that the company signed a business contract for the second phase (Segment 1 and Segment 2) of the 500,000-ton soda ash plant project in Zhambyl Region, Kazakhstan, with Kazakhstan Soda LLC at the Second China-Central Asia Summit.

The contract amount for Segment 1 of the 500,000-ton soda ash plant project in Zhambyl Region, Kazakhstan, is USD 193 million, and the contract amount for Segment 2 is USD 145 million, with a total contract amount of USD 337 million for both segments. The project is located in Zhanatas, Zhambyl Region, Kazakhstan, and involves the construction of a soda ash production plant with an annual output of 500,000 tons, including supporting facilities such as a soda ash process production area, brine extraction area, limestone mining area, and residential area. The scope of work includes design, procurement, construction, and commissioning services. The contract duration is no more than 1,262 days.

The announcement stated that the Central Asia region is a key market for the company, which has multiple important projects under execution in this area.
