A-share closing review: Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.71%, semiconductor sector continued to strengthen in the afternoon
On January 7th, Jin10 Data reported that the three major A-share indices opened lower but rose throughout the day, with the Shanghai Composite Index up 0.71%, the Shenzhen Component Index up 1.14%, and the ChiNext Index up 0.7% by the close. In the market, the semiconductor sector continued to strengthen in the afternoon, with DAWEI, NINGBO KANGQIANG, Rockchip, and Demingli hitting the daily limit, while Cambrian, Jiewa Technology, and Longxun Co., Ltd. rose over 10%. The CPO concept surged, with stocks like Taichengguang, Zhishang Technology, and StarNet Ruijie hitting the daily limit. The pharmaceutical sector corrected today, with stocks like Aoxiang Pharmaceutical hitting the daily limit down. Other sectors such as copper cable high-speed connections, controllable nuclear fusion, seed industry, data centers, liquid-cooled servers, and cultivated diamonds also saw significant gains, while coal, gas supply and heating, and electricity sectors experienced notable declines. More than 4,300 stocks in the entire market rose, with a trading volume of approximately 1.07 trillion yuan
