State Administration for Market Regulation: Continuously expand the implementation scope of certifications for cybersecurity, Beidou products, green products, etc., to promote stable and strong supply chains
The Deputy Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Shu Wei, stated at the press conference series on "The Achievements of High-Quality Development of the Chinese Economy" that in 2024, the focus will be on strengthening industrial chains and promoting the quality improvement of supply chains. A quality certification system will be established and implemented for agricultural seeds, robots, automotive chips, intelligent connected vehicles, and other areas, continuously expanding the scope of certification implementation for cybersecurity, Beidou products, green products, etc., to promote stable and strong chains. The directory of green product certifications has increased to 113 types of products, with 8,500 enterprises obtaining a total of 35,000 green product certification certificates; efforts will be accelerated to build a "dual carbon" certification system, initiating pilot work for product carbon footprint labeling certification for 10 types of products, including lithium batteries and photovoltaics, to promote green and low-carbon development
