Beijing Spring Festival real estate market: Some properties have visitor numbers exceeding expectations by 300%
On February 6th, Jinshi Data reported that under the influence of the continuously warming real estate market, the Spring Festival holiday, which traditionally belongs to the off-season for the real estate market, will see significant changes in 2025. During visits, reporters found that the sales offices of new projects in popular areas became new destinations for homebuyers during the Spring Festival holiday in 2025. Real estate consultants engaged in new project sales told reporters that starting from the third day of the Lunar New Year, the number of visitors began to show a gradual increase, reaching an average of about 20 groups per working day by the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, far exceeding the expected 5 groups before the Spring Festival, with an increase of 300%. Cao Jingjing, general manager of the Index Division of the China Index Academy, stated that the newly built residential market in 2025 is driven by quality projects, with prices slightly rising. Overall, the real estate policies in 2025 will remain loose, including the relaxation of home purchase restrictions in first-tier cities, urban village renovations, and increased home purchase subsidies, aimed at promoting demand release. The Ministry of Finance emphasized that special bonds can be used to acquire idle land and commercial housing. If policies are accelerated, it will improve market supply and demand and alleviate corporate pressure. It is expected that after the Spring Festival, the number of online signing will rebound, and new home sales may remain stable year-on-year
