According to the Ministry of Education, the latest revised 758 new vocational education professional teaching standards were officially released today. This release is a significant revision of the professional teaching standards based on the new "Vocational Education Professional Directory," aimed at meeting the new requirements for talent cultivation in vocational education due to industrial transformation and upgrading. It is reported that the revision of the vocational education professional teaching standards took more than three years and fully aligns with the need to build a vocational education system that integrates vocational and general education as well as industry and education. The revision continuously incorporates the requirements of new technologies, new professions, new business formats, and new models, covering 11 aspects including vocational orientation, curriculum design, faculty team, teaching conditions, and graduation requirements. The newly released standards consist of a total of 758 items, covering 52.9% of the 1,434 professions in the new directory, accounting for 82.1% of the total number of vocational education programs nationwide in 2024
