Longstone Technology Surges 8% as Energy Storage Sector Rallies
Longstone Technology (2465.HK) surged over 8% during regular trading to HK$13.42, with turnover exceeding HK$147 million.
The rally was driven by the energy storage sector, with Sungrow Power Supply rising more than 10% and lifting peers.
In corporate developments, the company earlier announced a planned investment of approximately USD 160 million in Indonesia to construct Phase III of its lithium battery cathode materials project. Full completion would increase the Indonesia base capacity from 30,000 tons currently to 120,000 tons.
Additionally, on June 16, the firm disclosed plans to place up to 15 million H shares at HK$13.09 per share, representing an 8.91% discount, expected to raise net proceeds of approximately HK$194 million for working capital at the Jintan project and debt repayment.
