MINIMAX-W drops 6% in Hong Kong as tech stocks retreat
MINIMAX-W (100.HK) fell 6% during regular trading to HK$327.40, triggering an anomaly alert after losing more than 3% within a five-minute window.
The decline came as Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index opened 229 points lower, dragging technology stocks broadly. Southbound capital had been a net buyer of MINIMAX shares on Friday, and Orient Securities maintained a buy rating with a target price of HK$466.32. The stock had rallied over 4% the prior week on the launch of a multimodal product before giving back gains on Monday.
