Rongchang Biologics surges 8% as H1 profit forecast shows turnaround
Rongchang Biologics (9995.HK) surged more than 8% in Hong Kong trading to HK$85.95. The company issued a positive profit alert, forecasting first-half 2026 revenue of approximately 5.85 billion yuan, up more than 4.3 times from a year earlier, and net profit of about 4.7 billion yuan, marking a turnaround to profitability — the first time the company has achieved scaled earnings since its listing.
The strong performance was driven by continued domestic sales growth of its core products Telitacicept and Disitamab vedotin, as well as the recognition of substantial technology licensing revenue from an exclusive overseas licensing agreement with AbbVie for RC148, a PD-1/VEGF bispecific antibody.
