Kingboard Holdings surges 8% as PCB stocks rally in Hong Kong
Kingboard Holdings (148.HK) surged 8.07% in Hong Kong trading to HK$51.70, joining a broad rally in PCB-related stocks. Kingboard Laminates climbed 6.06% to HK$40.94. In a research note, CITIC Securities said PCB and copper-clad laminate (CCL) producers delivered strong first-half earnings, with AI demand and price increases driving profit growth, and expects the sector's momentum to extend into the second half.
The company previously issued an interim profit alert, projecting first-half 2026 net profit of more than HK$2.7 billion, with earnings from its copper-clad laminate business up more than 200% year-over-year.
