China Nov EV battery installations: CATL holds 43.71% share, BYD 20.36%

In November, China's EV battery installations reached 93.5 GWh, a 39.2% year-on-year increase. CATL led with a 43.71% market share, up 0.71 percentage points from October, while BYD held 20.36%, down 0.93 points. Ternary and LFP battery installations rose significantly, with CATL dominating both markets. China's total battery production was 176.3 GWh, a 49.2% increase year-on-year. CATL and BYD's global market share from Jan-Oct 2025 was 38.1% and 16.9%, respectively.
