Dongyue Group surges 8% as subsidiary restarts STAR Market IPO coaching
Dongyue Group (189.HK) surged more than 8% in Hong Kong trading to HK$13.95. The company's subsidiary, Shandong Dongyue Future Hydrogen Energy Materials Co. (Future Materials), has restarted its STAR Market IPO coaching process with CITIC Securities as the sponsor — the fourth attempt at an A-share listing in seven years. Future Materials withdrew its application in late June and resubmitted the coaching filing just one month later.
Dongyue earlier issued a profit alert, forecasting first-half 2026 net profit growth of more than 31% year-over-year, driven by higher product prices. The interim results are scheduled for official release on August 20.
