Recently, Wang Jianlin, chairman of Dalian Wanda Group, appeared in Xinjiang. According to the Karamay City Media Center, from August 20 to 21, Wang Jianlin inspected investment attraction, cultural tourism development, and other work in Karamay. Wang Jianlin stated, "Karamay is like a pearl of Xinjiang, exceeding expectations. The tourism resources here are abundant, with the Dushanzi Grand Canyon and the World Devil City scenic area being unique in China and even the world. The resource endowment is very good, but it needs to be further enhanced. I visited the Duku Highway, which sees 1.5 million vehicles pass through each year. We need to find ways to maximize this resource. Overall, Karamay's tourism resources are good, but the planning, design, and operational levels of the projects themselves may still need improvement compared to advanced regions. We are also exploring the possibility of cooperation with Karamay. We are interested in collaborating with all parties to comprehensively enhance Karamay, whether in terms of urban development or the happiness index of the citizens, which will definitely be a great help to Karamay."
