Eight departments: Explore incorporating strengthened international cooperation in the new energy storage field into the framework of cooperation mechanisms such as the Belt and Road Initiative and BRICS to prevent malicious competition in the export sector
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and eight other departments issued the "Action Plan for High-Quality Development of the New Energy Storage Manufacturing Industry," exploring the incorporation of strengthened international cooperation in the new energy storage field into the frameworks of initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative and BRICS cooperation mechanisms. It aims to enhance alignment with relevant countries' resource strategies, policies, and standards, and actively promote the establishment of a mutually beneficial industrial chain and supply chain cooperation system. The plan emphasizes the high-quality implementation of effective free trade agreements and supports enterprises in fully utilizing the preferential arrangements of these agreements. It encourages industry organizations and think tanks to build public service platforms, timely track relevant national market access, environmental protection, and other policies and regulations in the new energy storage field, and conduct trade and investment-related training to systematically enhance enterprises' international development capabilities. It also aims to fully leverage the coordinating and self-regulatory roles of domestic industry organizations and overseas Chinese-funded enterprise chambers of commerce to prevent malicious competition in the export sector and jointly maintain a good image of Chinese brands
