On January 9th, the National Medical Products Administration website released a notice regarding 30 batches of non-compliant cosmetics. The notice states: In the 2024 national cosmetics sampling inspection work, products labeled as small particle seaweed moisturizing masks and other 30 batches of cosmetics were found to be non-compliant after inspection by the Shanxi Provincial Inspection and Testing Center and other units. According to the "Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulations," "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Cosmetics Production and Operation," and "Management Measures for Cosmetics Sampling Inspection," the National Medical Products Administration requires the Shanghai Municipal and Guangdong Provincial Drug Supervision Administration to investigate the registrants, filers, and entrusted manufacturers involved in the aforementioned non-compliant cosmetics in accordance with the law, and to order the relevant enterprises to immediately take risk control measures and conduct self-inspection and rectification in accordance with the law. Drug supervision departments in various provinces must order relevant cosmetics operators to immediately stop operating the aforementioned cosmetics and investigate their purchase inspection records and other situations in accordance with the law, trace the source of illegal products, and seriously investigate and deal with any illegal activities found; if criminal offenses are suspected, they shall be transferred to public security organs in accordance with the law
