German Industrial Output Unexpectedly Rises
Germany's industrial production rose 1.8% in October, surpassing expectations of a 0.4% decline. This marks the strongest monthly gain since March, driven by increased output in data processing equipment, electronic products, and mechanical engineering. Energy production rose 1.4%, and construction output grew 3.3%. On an annual basis, industrial output increased 0.8%, reversing a previous decline.
