India makes a positive final ruling on anti-dumping for cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel from China
On September 19, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced a positive final ruling on anti-dumping measures against cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel originating from or imported from China, recommending the imposition of a 5-year anti-dumping duty on the involved products from China. The duty amounts are as follows: for the involved manufacturers Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation, Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., and Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., it is USD 223.82 per ton, while for other Chinese manufacturers, it is USD 414.92 per ton. The involved products include cold-rolled silicon steel flat products, regardless of whether they are in coils or not, and regardless of width and thickness. Cold-rolled fully hard silicon electrical steel used for manufacturing cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel is not subject to the anti-dumping measures in this case
