May 28th Midday Review: Shanghai Composite Index fluctuates narrowly with a slight increase, nuclear power and consumer stocks continue to strengthen
The market fluctuated sideways in the morning, with the three major indices showing mixed results. The nuclear power and controllable nuclear fusion concepts continued to be strong, with RFNE, GWE, and Huijin Tong hitting the daily limit. Consumer stocks were repeatedly active, with Kuaijishan, Junyao Health, and Guofang Group all hitting the limit. The concept of autonomous driving continued to rise, with Tongda Electric, Yunnei Power, and Jinglv Environment also hitting the limit. On the downside, the pet economy concept declined, with Tianyuan Pet dropping nearly 10%. Most individual stocks fell rather than rose, with nearly 3,000 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets showing losses, and a total turnover of 666.8 billion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.07%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.04%, and the ChiNext Index rose 0.02%
