According to China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), the second phase of the largest integrated project for distributed photovoltaic, power storage, and charging piles in China's offshore oil and gas equipment manufacturing sector has been fully put into operation at the CNOOC Engineering Zhuhai Deepwater Equipment Manufacturing Base. The project is divided into three phases, with the first phase having been put into operation in July 2023, featuring an installed capacity of 6,500 kilowatts and an average annual power generation of 6.45 million kilowatt-hours. The newly launched distributed photovoltaic system covers a total area of 80,000 square meters, with an installed capacity of 9,300 kilowatts, which can add an annual power generation of 9.2 million kilowatt-hours based on the clean energy generation of the first phase, further reducing reliance on non-renewable energy sources such as thermal power
