On the 23rd, Guangxi, China, and Laos held a signing ceremony in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, to jointly establish the China-Laos Artificial Intelligence Innovation Cooperation Center. This is the first artificial intelligence cooperation innovation platform signed between China and ASEAN countries, aimed at systematically enhancing Laos's foundational capabilities in the intelligent era and empowering the development of various industries in Laos. In the next step, Guangxi will use this cooperation center as a starting point to jointly build the China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Innovation Cooperation Center with ASEAN countries, promoting the construction of autonomous and controllable artificial intelligence sovereign large models in ASEAN countries, advancing cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in artificial intelligence, cross-border data, talent training, and other fields, facilitating the implementation and innovation of artificial intelligence technology, assisting in the digital inheritance of ASEAN languages and cultures, enhancing the level of intelligence and social welfare, and promoting the benevolent use of artificial intelligence for the benefit of all humanity
