The latest data shows that in 2024, the automobile throughput at Shanghai Port will reach 3.63 million vehicles, with an annual increase of 15%, surpassing the Port of Antwerp-Bruges in Belgium for the first time, becoming the world's number one port in automobile throughput. According to the "14th Five-Year Plan" goals for Shanghai Port, there will be an overall deployment of over 5 million vehicles in throughput capacity at Waigaoqiao, Lingang, and Haitong Taicang.
