The Export-Import Bank of China issues 10 billion yuan to support Shanghai's theme bond for stabilizing foreign trade and promoting development
On June 19th, during the 2025 Lujiazui Forum, the issuance ceremony for the "Support Shanghai's Stable Foreign Trade and Promote Development Theme Bond" by the Export-Import Bank of China was held in Shanghai. Wu Wei, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, and Wang Chunying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Export-Import Bank of China, jointly attended the event. This bond has a term of 1 year and an amount of 10 billion yuan. The funds raised will mainly be used to support the operational development of key foreign trade enterprises in Shanghai, covering critical areas of the foreign trade industry such as shipping, high-tech, energy supply security, and industrial chain supply chain, receiving strong support and enthusiastic subscriptions from various market investors
