Bao Chengchao, former executive deputy general manager of the research institute and chief strategy analyst at Guolian Minsheng Securities, joined CITIC Securities on July 2 to serve as head of the strategy group within its research department, according to Jiemian News. China Securities Association registration information showed the move. Bao previously worked at Everbright Prudential Fund as a researcher from 2014 to 2016, joined Changjiang Securities’ strategy team from 2016 to October 2023, and moved with his team to Guolian Securities in October 2023 before taking roles at Guolian Minsheng Securities following the integration of Guolian Securities and Minsheng Securities. Public information shows he graduated from Fudan University’s School of Economics with a bachelor’s degree in mathematical economics and a master’s degree in Western economics.
