Jiangsu Unicom took the lead in conducting research on 5G-A related technologies. After upgrading to 5G-A at the Ming Xiaoling Scenic Area in Nanjing last March, on-site tests showed a nearly fivefold increase in speed compared to ordinary 5G networks. Currently, Jiangsu Unicom has completed the deployment of 5G-A networks in various scenarios, including Xianlin University Town, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway, Shanghai-Nanjing High Speed Railway, and venues for the "Su Chao" competition, and is continuously expanding. In March last year, Jiangsu Unicom was the first to activate the RedCap feature on the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway, and in August last year, 21,000 5G stations across the province activated the RedCap feature, achieving full regional business capacity for RedCap, marking Jiangsu Unicom's comprehensive entry into the new era of 5G IoT
