HAONENG's wholly-owned subsidiary Chengdu Haoyi Qiang plans to invest 300 million yuan in the construction of an intelligent manufacturing center for aerospace components in Qingyang District, Chengdu, aiming to improve production efficiency and reduce management and logistics costs. The project will focus on optimizing the existing production lines and is expected to sign the investment agreement on December 27, 2024. Since its acquisition in 2020, Haoyi Qiang's aerospace business has developed rapidly, with revenue reaching 222 million yuan in 2023 and ample customer orders. This move will help the company better respond to market demands and ensure long-term sustainable development

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, HAONENG (603809.SH) announced that in order to meet the future development needs of the company's aerospace business, its wholly-owned subsidiary Chengdu Haoyiqiang Aviation Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Haoyiqiang") signed an "Investment Agreement" on December 27, 2024, with the Management Committee of the Industrial Concentration Development Zone in Qingyang District, Chengdu, and the Huangtianba Street Office of the People's Government of Qingyang District, Chengdu, to invest in the construction and operation of an "Aerospace Component Intelligent Manufacturing Center" in Qingyang District, Chengdu, primarily for the research and development, production, and sales of aerospace components. The total planned investment for the project is 300 million yuan, aiming to enhance production efficiency, reduce management and logistics costs, and provide customers with more timely and high-quality services by building the aerospace component intelligent manufacturing center, which will concentrate, integrate, and optimize the company's existing production lines in aerospace.

Since acquiring Haoyiqiang in 2020, the aerospace business has developed rapidly, with Haoyiqiang's revenue reaching 222 million yuan in 2023, and important customers have sufficient orders on hand. The project's implementation location in Qingyang District is beneficial for the company to be closer to market customers, quickly respond to customer needs, and effectively reduce service and transportation costs; the company will build factories on its own land, which is conducive to ensuring the stability and long-term development of Haoyiqiang's operational site; it will also facilitate the centralized management of Haoyiqiang's currently dispersed production sites, thereby improving production and management efficiency and creating a comprehensive competitive advantage. This investment lays a solid foundation for Haoyiqiang's future sustainable development and aligns with the company's long-term sustainable development strategy
