The Shanghai Composite Index opened 3 points lower, YOFC hit the daily limit up
China's second-quarter GDP and other significant economic data will be released today (15th). The central parity rate of the RMB against the US dollar is reported at 6.7910, an increase of 80 points from the previous day. The People's Bank of China conducted a 426.5 billion RMB (same below) 7-day reverse repurchase operation, with another 15 billion RMB reverse repos maturing, resulting in a net injection of 411.5 billion RMB for the day. The three major A-share indices opened mixed.
The SSE Index opened down 3 points or 0.09%, at 3,963 points. The Shenzhen Component Index opened up 45 points or 0.31%, at 14,970 points. The ChiNext Index opened up 28 points or 0.74%, at 3,879 points.
Domestic bank stocks Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) and China Construction Bank (601939.SH) opened down 0.9% and 1.9%, respectively, while China Merchants Bank (600036.SH) opened down 0.5%. Domestic insurance stocks China Life (601628.SH) opened up 1.6%, with the company expected to see profits more than double in the first half of the year; China Pacific Insurance (601601.SH) opened down 0.3%. Additionally, BYD (002594.SZ) opened down 0.6%. CATL (300750.SZ) opened up 1.1%.
Changxin Technology (688825.SH), the world's fourth-largest DRAM manufacturer, priced its IPO at 8.66 RMB per share. Chip stocks Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (688981.SH) opened down 0.6%, while Hua Hong Semiconductor (688347.SH) opened flat. AI chip stock Cambricon (688256.SH) opened up 0.6%. Domestic GPU stock Moore Threads (688795.SH) opened up 0.7%. Lanqi Technology (688008.SH) opened flat. Fiber optic stock YOFC (601869.SH) is expected to see a mid-term net profit increase of over 711%, hitting the daily limit during the pre-opening auction period. Storage stock GigaDevice (603986.SH) opened up 2.7%.
Among the three major optical module giants, Zhongji Xuchuang (300308.SZ) opened up 0.5%, Tianfu Communication (300394.SZ) opened up 0.5%, and NewEase (300502.SZ) opened down 0.7%.
iFlytek (002230.SZ) is expected to report a net loss of 180 million to 228 million RMB in the first half of the year, with its stock price opening down 0.3%
