Japan Logistics Fund ( (JP:8967) ) has shared an announcement.

Japan Logistics Fund, Inc. has decided to acquire a silent partnership equity interest backed by trust beneficiary rights in four domestic logistics properties, including centers in Sapporo, Narita, Ichinomiya and Shin-Kiba. The investment totals ¥850 million for a 9% stake in Sasanqua GK, funded from cash on hand and to be paid in a lump sum, with the acquisition scheduled for late June.

The transaction forms part of JLF’s broader bridge scheme strategy using external funding and partnerships with leasing companies to secure preferential negotiation rights over attractive pipeline assets. By investing in this silent partnership, JLF gains profit distributions from rental income and priority rights to acquire the underlying properties, strengthening its portfolio of versatile, 24-hour operable logistics hubs with excellent expressway, airport and metropolitan access, and enhancing its competitive positioning in Japan’s logistics real estate market.
