They have published a peer-reviewed study in The CRISPR Journal, detailing the targeted genetic knockout of Can f 1, the primary allergen in dogs. This study showcases a precise CRISPR-Cas9 edit conducted on two female beagles, Alfie and Bailey, born in September 2024. These dogs have exhibited normal growth and development, with no detection of the Can f 1 protein.
