America’s Car-Mart Inc. is facing near-demise after prospering through the 2008 financial crisis and the Covid-19 upheaval by selling and financing older, high-mileage used cars to deeply subprime buyers, according to Bloomberg. The company had also thrived during a ’90s slump by serving cash-strapped customers who needed affordable transportation.
