A digital solution provider company, Einride , said it plans to add 500 Tesla Semi trucks to its North American operations, a move that would expand its electric commercial fleet and broaden its freight network.

Shares jumped 6% on Tuesday following the news.

The vehicles are expected to arrive in stages over the next 24 months, with the first deliveries potentially beginning in September. Amazon and other customers are expected to use the trucks across California, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois and Georgia.

The deployment would lift Einride's electric truck fleet from roughly 250 vehicles to about 750. The company also plans to operate the trucks through Saga AI, its software platform designed to coordinate routing and charging.

Einride said the project will rely on external financing rather than issuing new shares, limiting the potential for shareholder dilution. Separately, the company reported first-half 2026 sales of $27 million, up 26% from a year earlier.

The development also provides a new commercial use case for Tesla's electric truck platform as fleet operators expand zero-emission freight operations across major U.S. markets.
