FedEx Freight said on Thursday it expects revenue for the seven months ending December 31 to rise 4% to 6%, while adjusted operating profit is forecast to increase 0.8% to 7.5%, according to 36Kr. The company recently completed its spin-off from parent FedEx Corp. For its fiscal fourth quarter ended May 31, FedEx Freight reported revenue rose 4.8% to $2.4 billion, driven by higher fuel surcharges and increased average shipment weight, topping analysts’ estimate of $2.26 billion.
