"Hong Kong Stocks" Hang Seng Index closed down 393 points, commodity stocks weak, chip stocks' decline narrowed
The Hang Seng Index closed down 393 points at 25,235 points, a decline of 1.5%. The National Index fell 159 points to 8,757 points, a drop of 1.8%. The Hang Seng Tech Index decreased by 95 points to 5,402 points, a decline of 1.7%. Technology stocks generally fell, with Alibaba down 3%, Tencent down 1.1%, and Meituan down 1.4%.
