KBC has introduced regulated Bitcoin and Ethereum trading for retail investors via its Bolero brokerage platform earlier this year. According to NS3.AI, this move aligns with the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, which established a unified framework for crypto services across the European Union. Other financial institutions, including BBVA, DZ Bank, and Societe Generale Forge, are also enhancing their digital asset capabilities within their existing banking infrastructures.
