Kura Sushi hit with tariff costs, lowers FY26 guidance
Kura Sushi (KRUS) lowered its FY26 revenue guidance to $330.5M-$331.5M due to higher imported food and beverage costs driven by tariffs, which increased COGS by 200 basis points. Despite a top-line miss relative to Wall Street expectations, the company reported better-than-expected earnings of $0.03 per share and improved restaurant-level operating margins to 19.1%. Shares dropped up to 12% in after-hours trading.
