Neuropsychiatric drug developer Seaport files for U.S. IPO
Seaport Therapeutics (SPTX), a biotech firm focused on neuropsychiatric diseases, has filed for an IPO in the U.S. to list on Nasdaq under the symbol "SPTX." Founded by Daphne Zohar in 2024, the company plans to use IPO proceeds for R&D, particularly for its lead asset, GlyphAllo, currently in a Phase 2 trial for major depressive disorder. Seaport has not yet turned a profit, with a 2025 net loss of $74.9M and an accumulated deficit of $114.1M as of Dec. 31, 2025.
