Chilean miners Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile (SQM) and Codelco are laying plans to lift production at their lithium partnership in Chile by more than 70%, Bloomberg reported. The companies are positioning the venture for higher long-term output as they bet on continued demand growth from batteries.
