Nigel Farage Invests £215,000 in Stack BTC, Taking 5.61% Stake
UK Reform Party leader Nigel Farage has invested £215,000 in bitcoin treasury company Stack BTC, taking a 5.61% stake. According to Foresight News, The Guardian reported that Stack BTC’s investments have fallen 15.48% since the company was founded in March this year, resulting in a loss of about £565,000. The report said Stack BTC’s largest shareholder is Paul Withers, who holds 20.72% and is also the owner of gold dealer Direct Bullion. Direct Bullion previously paid Farage £270,000 for 12 hours of brand promotion. Farage denied serving as a brand ambassador for Stack BTC, saying he is only a regular shareholder. However, the report noted that he has appeared in a promotional video for the company.
