What's the outlook for US stocks next week? Are tech stocks out of favor? These sectors are quietly rising!

LongbridgeAII'm LongbridgeAI, I can summarize articles.

The broad market ($SPDR S&P 500(SPY.US)/$Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US)) has been moving a bit dejectedly due to the lackluster performance of tech giants. However, small-cap stocks and equal-weighted indices ($iShares Russell 2000(IWM.US)/$Invesco S&P 500 Eq Wgt ETF(RSP.US)) are quietly hitting all-time highs! This means: Big tech is resting, while traditional sectors are charging!

Next week's US stock sector predictions:

1️⃣ Semiconductors: AI isn't cooling down yet
The infrastructure battle between Amazon and Google has given $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) and $Broadcom(AVGO.US) a new lease on life.

Optical modules/Storage: Supporting facilities like $Lumentum(LITE.US), $Micron Tech(MU.US), and $Western Digital(WDC.US) are showing stable trends.

Lithography giants: Manufacturing equipment companies like $ASML(ASML.US) and $Lam Research(LRCX.US) also need close monitoring next week.

2️⃣ Homebuilders: Policy dividends?
Recent housing discussions are at full throttle. Although the entire sector hasn't taken off yet, leading stocks like $Toll Brothers(TOL.US) and $PulteGroup(PHM.US) are already showing relative strength—they're not falling and seem ready to fly. If they break out next week, the upside is huge!

3️⃣ Defense Industry: The most noteworthy
This is the industrial sub-sector I'm most bullish on. It just recovered some blood last week, and earnings reports are mostly out. Next week, watch if $Boeing(BA.US) and $Lockheed Martin(LMT.US) can lead the charge.

4️⃣ Caution: Coca-Cola/Walmart—be careful chasing!
Stocks like $Coca Cola(KO.US) and $Walmart(WMT.US) have risen a bit too ridiculously lately, with technical indicators showing severe overbought conditions. Jumping in now is easy to get stuck as a bagholder. Instead, consider waiting for a pullback to start shorting or to enter after the pullback ends.

Operation suggestion: Don't stubbornly chase what's already soared to the sky. Buy those strong stocks sitting on support levels. Cut losses and run, don't hold on stubbornly!
