Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle (EV) brand under Geely Auto (HKEX: 0175), delivered 35,169 vehicles in June, up 110.57% year-on-year and 2.30% month-on-month, according to data released on Wednesday.

The figure marked a record monthly high for the brand and the third consecutive month in which Zeekr broke its own record. The brand had delivered 34,377 vehicles in May.

In the first half, Zeekr delivered 178,370 vehicles, up 96.57% year-on-year. This indicates the brand has maintained its growth momentum in China's fiercely competitive market.

As of the end of June, Zeekr's cumulative deliveries reached 821,259 units, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

The Zeekr 9X, the brand's plug-in hybrid luxury flagship SUV, is a key model in its push into the premium segment. The vehicle's cumulative deliveries have surpassed 60,000 units.

The Zeekr 9X has an average transaction price of over 530,000 yuan ($78,010), it said, adding that in the segment above 500,000 yuan, one in every three luxury vehicles sold is a Zeekr 9X.

In June, deliveries of Zeekr's shooting brake models exceeded 10,000 units, and cumulative deliveries of the shooting brake family have surpassed 380,000 units, according to the brand.

Zeekr is accelerating its global expansion, having entered more than 50 countries and regions with over 650 stores worldwide.

In the second half, Zeekr plans to take its dual 9-series flagships overseas. The Zeekr 9X will officially enter overseas markets in the third quarter, followed by the Zeekr 009 Grand Edition on the international market.

The Zeekr 009 is the world's first purpose-built all-electric luxury MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), with cumulative deliveries approaching 70,000 units.
