What is fractional share trading?** The standard trading unit is one board lot of 100 shares. However, some products, such as Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) Warrants, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), and fixed income instruments, may have different board lot sizes. **Board lot size for different products** **Product** **Board lot size** SPAC Warrant 1 ETF 1 ADR 10 Fixed income instrument 10, 100, or 1,000 \* Since 17 January 2022, all ETFs listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) trade with a board lot size of 1 unit. SGX also has a market for fractional share trading, which allows for trading for quantities smaller than a standard board lot of the underlying security. **2\. Does Longbridge provide fractional share trading services?** Yes, Longbridge provides fractional share trading services. You can go to the Longbridge App > *Portfolio* > *Trade* > *Choose Symbol*, select a stock and the trading direction (buy/sell), tap *Odd Lot Order* under *Type*, enter the price and quantity, and submit the order. **3\. Why might the buy price for a fractional share be higher than for 1 lot?** Due to lower liquidity and trading volume in the fractional share market, the buy price for fractional shares might be higher than for a full lot. When buying fractional shares, you can enter a price slightly above the market price to increase the chance of filling the order. **4\. Why might the sell price for a fractional share be lower than for 1 lot?** Due to lower liquidity and trading volume in the fractional share market, the sell price for fractional shares might be lower than for a full lot. When selling fractional shares, you can enter a price slightly below the market price to increase the chance of filling the order. **5\. What are the fees for fractional share trading?** The fee for fractional share trading is the same as for standard lot trading. For details, please see the Longbridge pricing table. **6\. Can I buy/sell fractional shares and full lots in a single order?** No, fractional shares and full lots require separate orders. The number of shares for a fractional share order must be less than one board lot. **7\. When can I trade fractional shares?** Fractional shares can only be traded during the continuous trading session of the Singapore stock market (9:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00 on trading days). There is no pre-market session or closing auction session for fractional shares. **8\. What types of orders are supported for fractional shares? Can I modify my order after submitting it?** Fractional share trading only supports limit orders. Once placed, these orders cannot be modified but can be canceled. **9\. Why hasn't my fractional share order been filled after submission?** Due to lower liquidity in the fractional share market, your order might not be filled immediately if there are no matching buy/sell orders from other participants. **10\. Does Longbridge support the transfer of fractional shares?** Yes, Longbridge supports both transfer-in and transfer-out of fractional shares.
