The cost basis for my Micron Technology holding is 496, and the current price is 539, resulting in an unrealized gain of approximately 8.7%. This indicates a position that has just entered profitability but still has a relatively thin safety cushion. From an industry perspective, the memory cycle is likely still in the early-to-mid stage of an uptrend, and the AI-driven demand (especially for HBM) fueled by NVIDIA remains a core growth driver. Therefore, the upward momentum is not over yet, and selling now could easily mean "selling too early." A more reasonable approach is to continue holding while setting up defensive measures. For example, treat the 500–510 range as a dynamic profit-taking zone and consider reducing the position only if it falls below that level. This strategy allows profits to potentially grow further while also protecting against giving back gains.
