$Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US)
Many think TSMC is fully valued after reclaiming a major milestone. The recent earthquake near its Japan fabs also triggered emotional selling, but the Kumamoto plant was back to full operations quickly, showing how well the company manages operational risks.
The bigger story is capex. TSMC is spending billions more because global tech companies are competing for advanced chip capacity. When the world's leading foundry expands this aggressively, it says a lot about where the semiconductor cycle is heading.
I'm staying invested because forward earnings still support the premium valuation. Trading around short-term headlines often hurts long-term returns. I'd rather focus on production growth and rising free cash flow.
