$Singtel(Z74.SG)
Singtel’s recent profit drop isn’t a structural headwind at all. The headline decline is purely a high-base effect caused by massive one-off gains in the prior period. Strip those away, and underlying operating profit actually surged over 20%!
Operationally, the business is completely fine. I was hoping to average down my cost basis and pick up more shares at 2.41, but my order unfortunately didn‘t fill—such a missed opportunity!
When the market panics over headline numbers instead of reading the actual financial breakdown, entry points open up. Did anyone else manage to scoop up shares on this dip?
