📢 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: Greenland Approves Mining and Closure Plans for $Critical Metals(CRML.US) Critical Metals’ Tanbreez Rare Earth Project

👉 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:

➤ 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 formally approves Tanbreez 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 Plans.

➤ Approvals establish a development framework extending through 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟱𝟬.

➤ Tanbreez is described as one of the world's 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 deposits.

➤ Government approved extraction of 𝟭𝟵 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 at Tanbreez.

➤ Approved resources include 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝗱𝘆𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝘆𝘁𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺, neodymium and praseodymium.

➤ Strategic metals include 𝘇𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝗵𝗮𝗳𝗻𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺 and 𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗯𝗶𝘂𝗺.

➤ Mining Plan covers the mine, processing facilities, port and supporting infrastructure.

➤ Activity-specific 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀 remain required before construction can begin.

➤ Required permits cover environmental, marine, safety, export and mineral-sale activities.

➤ Approval significantly advances 𝗖𝗥𝗠𝗟's path toward developing Tanbreez.

👉 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀:

➤ Removes a major 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 hurdle for the Tanbreez project's development.

➤ Improves development visibility for 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 and potential financing partners.

➤ Could expand Western supplies of strategically important 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘀.

➤ Terbium and dysprosium are critical for 𝗘𝗩, wind and defense magnets.
