Background:
AVGO’s fundamentals are still excellent: Q3 revenue +86% YoY, AI semiconductor revenue +221%, and Q4 revenue guidance +93%. Management also sees AI revenue reaching $115B in FY2027.
My trade: Bought at an average cost of $354.
Takeaway:
Hold for now, but sell on strength. My $354 entry is good, but AVGO is already around $363 and the stock has a lot of AI expectations priced in. If chip makers' stock cannot make it, Semicon cannot make it, the index will never make it.
