Since the beginning of 2013, Apple Inc. has repurchased $700.61 billion worth of common stock, reducing the number of outstanding shares by 42.24% from its peak. This is the most important reason for Apple's long-term bullish trend. With such a significant reduction in total shares, it's hard not to see a rise over the long term.
