# All in Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, my Hong Kong card was frozen.

Recently, Mixue Ice Cream & Tea has ignited everyone's enthusiasm for IPO subscriptions, with friends and family joining in, naturally requiring some capital turnover.

Some friends in the group received bank "water meter check" emails and turned to me for help, asking for advice.

The email content is roughly as follows:

The email mainly asks:

1\. Customer information, such as work income, etc.

2\. The relationship and purpose of transactions with others.

If the email is not "correctly replied" to, the account will definitely be closed.

Some banks may not even send a "water meter check" email and directly close the account. For example, this group member had over a dozen HSBC Hong Kong cards closed directly.

Hong Kong is very different from mainland China in that its anti-money laundering measures are extremely strict. Therefore, you need to be careful with your account usage, or else you might face trouble like account closures.

Some common precautions include:

1\. Regularly (at least every six months) transfer funds in and out to avoid the account becoming dormant, as reactivation might require a branch visit.

2\. Avoid large, rapid inflows and outflows.

3\. Do not engage in transactions with complete strangers to avoid receiving dirty money.

Beyond these, there are many other things to watch out for. Our channel clients can contact me to get the **Hong Kong Card Usage Guidelines**.

For more advanced discussions (like building a secure and reliable transfer network), feel free to discuss. **If you're being "checked," you can DM me, and I'll ask my friends in Hong Kong bank risk control to help resolve it together.**

Also, for those going to Hong Kong to open accounts, make sure to open several Hong Kong cards, especially those that can be opened just by connecting to WiFi, as the cost is very low—don’t miss out.

For example, ZA Bank can be opened in Hong Kong just by connecting to WiFi. This month, if you use the invitation code **(QJ54U9)** when opening an account with ZA Bank, you can also **get a WeChat red packet of 8.88 HKD**.
