# SMMT trend review

$Summit Therapeutics(SMMT.US)

As usual, let's look at the chart first

After a violent rally in the early stage, it clearly pulled back and then formed a falling wedge pattern, fluctuating along the orange trendline. When approaching the orange trendline, both long upper shadows and long lower shadows were very obvious.

It perfectly matches the structure of a falling wedge, eventually breaking through the orange resistance line for a violent rally.

Here's an additional note about a confusing pattern (descending triangle) that somewhat resembles a falling wedge but needs to be distinguished.
