# Longbridge released the industry's first brokerage MCP, enabling AI to directly execute investment analysis and securities trading.

Longbridge has launched the securities industry's first brokerage MCP service (Model Context Protocol, MCP) — **LongPort MCP**, empowering professional investors to use natural language, enabling AI Agents to quickly access securities market data, execute stock trades, manage asset portfolios, and other core financial services, achieving seamless integration between AI and core securities services.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open protocol that establishes a standardized channel for transmitting contextual information between large language models (LLMs) and external tools or data sources. Think of MCP as the USB interface for AI applications—just as USB provides a standardized way to connect devices, MCP offers a standardized method for AI Agents to connect with various tools and data sources.

The technical team at LongPort Group (LongPort Team) leveraged MCP's capability to enable AI to quickly read data and developed the securities industry's first brokerage MCP—LongPort MCP. Currently, LongPort MCP has been released on the Longbridge official website and simultaneously launched on GitHub, the world's largest open-source community, as well as the largest MCP service platform.
