Claude is making a big move, computing power liberation is on the way

Recently, Claude posted an announcement on its official website. Although it's purely text-based, it contains a wealth of information. The event itself is about Anthropic, the parent company of Claude, partnering with Elon Musk's SpaceX to purchase excess computing power from SpaceX's xAI.
Many people might wonder: why does Musk's SpaceX still have so much computing power? It's because Musk was actually one of the founders of OpenAI from the beginning. Later, due to disagreements with the current CEO Sam Altman, he left OpenAI, founded his own large model company xAI, and launched the Grok model.
However, Grok hasn't gained a large audience so far. Musk stockpiled a lot of NVIDIA GPU graphics cards to develop Grok, but the overall usage is only about 11%, leaving a large amount of idle computing power.
On the other hand, Anthropic's Claude has been on a tear over the past three months, with user and data consumption skyrocketing geometrically. Recently, Anthropic has been very active, signing chip procurement agreements with Google, Amazon, and others. This latest move to partner with Musk is also aimed at solving the computing power bottleneck.
Based on my current practical experience, Claude's model capabilities are indeed excellent, but the token allowance is very scarce. After running just a few tasks, the tokens are used up, and I have to wait three to five hours for new tokens to be issued. Anthropic also stated that after this cooperation, it is expected that within a month, Claude's paid users will see a 5x to 15x increase in their token allowances at different tiers.
So, for now, computing power demand remains a scarce resource pursued by excellent companies, and behind this lies massive opportunities related to storage chips and even underlying energy infrastructure.
