Amprius +22%, Palladyne AI +17%, Nova Minerals and MagnaChip Semiconductor all rose +14% — four independent stocks showing significant gains together. Amprius is riding on rumors of volume expansion for silicon anode batteries, Nova Minerals is benefiting from expectations of U.S. domestic supply chain policies along with antimony/critical metal ADRs, MagnaChip broke out with a single-day gap in the small-cap semiconductor sector, and Palladyne AI is following the sentiment of the AI robotics sector. All four are small-cap stocks valued between $500 million and $1.5 billion, where a single day's capital push can drive gains of over ten to twenty percent.
The question is: how many trading days can this kind of 'small-cap + theme' surge last? I feel it's probably just a one-day affair — unless Amprius secures real orders or Nova Minerals gets a specific contract from the U.S. Department of Defense, otherwise the capital won't stay.
